Overview

At Pristine Carbon, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. All Pristine Carbon products are backed by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase.

This policy outlines what is covered, what is excluded, how to submit a claim, and how we resolve approved claims.

1. Warranty Coverage Period

All Pristine Carbon products are covered for 12 months from the date of original purchase as confirmed by your order confirmation email or order number.

The warranty period begins on the date your order is delivered, as confirmed by the carrier tracking record.


2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions, including:

  • Structural failures not caused by external impact, dropping, or misuse
  • Delamination or separation of carbon fiber layers under normal everyday use
  • Finish defects present at the time of delivery β€” including discoloration, bubbling, cracking, or uneven coating that is not caused by customer use
  • Broken or non-functional clips, hinges, or closures on card holders, key cases, and cash clips that fail under normal use
  • Fitment defects β€” where the product does not correctly fit the device model it was purchased for, confirmed against the compatibility listing at the time of purchase

To be eligible for a warranty claim, all of the following must apply:

  • The product was purchased directly from pristinecarbon.com
  • The claim is submitted within 12 months of the original delivery date
  • The defect is a manufacturing issue and not the result of accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear
  • Proof of purchase (order number or order confirmation email) can be provided

3. What Is Not Covered

The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Physical damage caused by drops, impacts, crushing, or accidents
  • Scratches, scuffs, or surface marks resulting from normal everyday use and handling
  • Damage caused by exposure to excessive heat, moisture, liquids, or chemical cleaning agents
  • Fading or minor discoloration resulting from prolonged UV exposure or normal aging
  • Modifications, alterations, or repairs attempted by anyone other than Pristine Carbon
  • Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or use outside the product's intended purpose
  • Products purchased from unauthorized third-party resellers or marketplaces
  • Products without valid proof of purchase
  • Lost or stolen products
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the structural integrity or functionality of the product
  • Normal wear and tear over time consistent with regular daily use

4. Relationship Between Warranty and Return Policy

To avoid confusion, here is how our Warranty Policy and Return & Refund Policy work together:

5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Follow these steps to submit a warranty claim:

Step 1 β€” Contact Our Support Team Email support@pristinecarbon.com with the subject line: "Warranty Claim – [Your Order Number]"

Step 2 β€” Include the Following Information

  • Full name and email address used at purchase
  • Order number
  • Product name and device model compatibility (e.g. "Forged Carbon iPhone Case – Red Fragment | Forge Series V1, iPhone 15 Pro")
  • Clear description of the defect
  • Photos or short video clearly showing the defect from multiple angles

Step 3 β€” Review and Assessment Our support team will review your claim within 3–5 business days and respond with a decision. We may request additional information or photos during the assessment process.

Step 4 β€” Resolution If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion based on the nature of the defect and product availability:

  • Replacement β€” a replacement product of the same or equivalent model shipped to you at no cost
  • Store Credit β€” full value of the original product as store credit valid for use on pristinecarbon.com
  • Refund β€” a refund to your original payment method, where applicable and at Pristine Carbon's discretion

6. Shipping for Warranty Resolutions

  • If a replacement is approved, Pristine Carbon will cover all shipping costs for the replacement to be delivered to you
  • You are not required to return the defective product unless specifically requested by our support team during the claims process
  • If a return of the defective product is required, Pristine Carbon will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you
  • Warranty replacements are shipped within 1–2 business days of claim approval, with an estimated transit time of 7–10 business days

7. Warranty Claim Timeframe

Warranty claims must be submitted within 12 months of the original delivery date.

Claims submitted after this period will not be eligible for warranty coverage regardless of the nature of the defect. We encourage customers to inspect their products upon delivery and periodically during use to identify any manufacturing issues within the warranty window.


8. One Warranty Claim Per Product

Each product purchased is eligible for one warranty claim. If a replacement is issued under warranty and the replacement product subsequently develops a defect, a new warranty claim may be submitted for the replacement product within its own 12-month warranty period from the date the replacement was delivered.


9. Proof of Purchase Requirement

A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Acceptable proof of purchase includes:

  • Order confirmation email from pristinecarbon.com
  • Order number traceable in our system

Pristine Carbon reserves the right to decline warranty claims where proof of purchase cannot be verified. Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from pristinecarbon.com. Products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers are not eligible for warranty coverage.


10. Limitation of Warranty Liability

Pristine Carbon's liability under this warranty is limited exclusively to the replacement, store credit, or refund of the defective product as described in Section 5. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from a product defect, including but not limited to damage to your device.

This warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable US federal or California state consumer protection law. Where applicable law provides greater warranty rights than those described here, those rights shall apply.


11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits, excludes, or modifies any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including California consumer protection law. This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.


12. Policy Updates

Pristine Carbon reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. The warranty terms applicable to your product are those in effect at the time of your original purchase date β€” updates do not apply retroactively to existing purchases.
